About Heritage Handcrafts

Heritage Handcrafts was created by Carol Palmer out of a passionate desire to preserve the crafting traditions of our ancestors and to bring their benefits to the modern community.  Carol believes that in our fast-paced, consumer driven world, we need to slow down and make space to connect with nature and with ourselves.

Carol is a long-time crafter who will turn her hand to anything, as well as an experienced teacher, of both children and adults.  She is the author of 'The Work of Wool' - Montessori Handwork Curriculum and blogs at  Her passion for her work and love of her fellow humans, as well as her relaxed approach, make her workshops a joy to attend.

Unless otherwise stated, the workshops offered by Heritage Handcrafts are aimed at adults, though they are often suitable for children who are keen to learn.  Please contact me if you would like to book a place on a workshop for a child under 15.

If you would like to book a private workshop or 'craft party' please email or call me to discuss your ideas and requirements.
