About the Event
Participants will walk in the footsteps of our ancetors from all over the world as they learn to take loose fibres and turn them into a strong, soft yarn that can be used in a range of crafts. We'll discuss how wool is processed of wool from sheep to garment and learn to spin and ply yarn from pure New Zealand wool.
This workshop is suitable for complete beginners. It is aimed at adults but if you would like to bring a child over twelve, please email before registering.
Places are limited to twelve participants to ensure everyone recieves the support they need.
Afternoon tea will be provided - please contact us in advance if you have any special dietary requirements.
